The regulator

What to send the regulator

Small claims in Florida

  2. Regulator complaint the same week, with the appeal attached. Regulators generally require the company to respond in writing within a few weeks.
  3. Public complaint through the Better Business Bureau. The large companies answer nearly all of them.
  4. Small claims for the gap if it fits under the cap; otherwise the arbitration the contract names, where the consumer's filing fee is capped by the arbitration provider's consumer rules.
