Home Still Works

Contractor Gone kit · $39 · one time

Every letter and form the four paths need, filled in with your facts

For the homeowner whose contractor stopped, vanished, or filed. You answer the questions once; the kit writes the chargeback script, the demand letter, the licensing complaint, the fund or bond paperwork, the lien-defense letter, the bankruptcy proof of claim worksheet, and the small-claims worksheet, each with your state's rule cited where one exists. It opens in your browser; you save it as a PDF. Nothing you type is stored by us.

What is in it

Questions

Is this legal advice?
No. It describes what each form is and where it goes, and fills it in with what you told us. Whether to send any of it is your call. A lawyer can review the whole kit in a fraction of the time it would take them to draft it.
What if my state has no fund?
Thirty-three states don't. The kit says so plainly and builds the small-claims and bankruptcy paths instead, which are the real paths in those states.
What do I need on hand?
The contract, your payment records, and any letters from the contractor, a subcontractor, or a court. The contract page shows where each number lives.
What if something goes wrong after I pay?
Email jon@homestillworks.com and we fix it or refund it. The charge shows on your statement as SOLARSTILLWORKS, our sister site, which runs the payments for both.

Warranty Denied kit, $19

For the other problem: a home warranty company that denied the claim.
